This describes what we actually store and why. If something here stops matching what our systems do, the text is the thing that is wrong, and we want to know.

What we collect

When you sign up:

Your email address.
Your consent: the exact wording you were shown, and when you agreed to it.
Technical details your browser reports: time zone, language, screen size, and whether it can record audio. We use the time zone to send your exercise in your morning rather than ours.
How you found us: the referring page and any campaign tags in the link.

When you answer an exercise:

Your voice recording.
Its transcription, and the feedback and score produced from it.

What we do not collect

We do not store your IP address. It is used for a moment to limit abusive traffic and is passed to Cloudflare for the anti-bot check, and then it is gone. It is not written to our database.
There are no accounts and no passwords, so there is nothing to leak.
No advertising, no analytics trackers, no third-party cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone outside the list below.

Why we hold it

To send you the exercise and your feedback.
To evaluate your recording against the criteria of the test.
To keep the sign-up form from being abused.
To prove you agreed to us handling your voice. That is why we store the wording and not just a checkbox.

Who processes it

We are a small operation and we rely on other companies to run the service. Each one only sees what it needs to do its job.

Where it is kept

In the United States. Our database and servers are hosted there, and the companies above are US-based. If you are in Canada, the European Union or anywhere else, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. Signing up means you are alright with that.

How long we keep it

What you can ask for

Write to support@aprubo.ai and we will:

Send you a copy of everything we hold about you.
Correct anything that is wrong.
Delete all of it. This is final and we cannot undo it.
Stop emailing you. Withdrawing consent stops us processing new recordings; it does not undo what was already done while consent was in place.

We answer within 30 days. If we cannot verify that the request comes from the owner of the address, we will not act on it — that protection is the reason.

Children

This is not built for children. It is practice for an adult immigration exam, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

When this changes we update the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with recordings already made, we will email you before it takes effect rather than change the page quietly.

Who we are

Aprubo is an independent project, not yet an incorporated company. Until it is, the people running it are responsible for the information described here, andsupport@aprubo.ai reaches them directly.
